Throughout the year, we will be hosting various Student Success Workshops on topics that will help you succeed in your goal of graduating with your degree or certificate. Plan to attend these workshops:

Job Search Workshops:

Do you need help getting started or need an extra pair of eyes looking over your cover letter and resume?  Do you need help with how to navigate the spring job fairs?  These workshops are designed to help make the job search less stressful and more successful!

Midterm Workshops:

Wed. Feb 18th at 3:15 pm and Thurs. Feb. 19th at 6 pm in room

As students prepare to take midterm exams, we have developed a workshop to help students maximize their study potential and pick up on success strategies.  There sessions will be held at two different times to allow students to be able to attend one of them.  The same material will be covered during both sessions, so there is no need to attend both.

Pre-Registration and WebAdvisor Review Workshops:

Mon. Mar. 18 at 3:15 pm and Tue. Mar. 19, at 6 pm in room 106

Registration is fast approaching and many students do not know how to effectively use WebAdvisor to get registered or search for classes.  The sessions will be open so feel free to come and go as you need.  Staff will be available to assist you with any questions you may have and show you some tips you may not have realized!

CAAP (Proficiency) Test Review Session:

Monday, October 29 3-6 pm in room 113

Instructors from the four areas of the test, Writing Skills, Reading, Science, and Math, will be on hand to help students prepare for the upcoming CAAP test, which will be held on Saturday, November 3.  If you are required to take the CAAP test or retake portions of it, you should consider attending this review session
