BHSUScholarships awarded through BHSU require students to be full time. Full-time students are students with a credit load of 12 or more credits per semester. You are encouraged to complete the General Scholarship Application, which has a priority deadline of December 21st for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Scholarships awarded through non-BHSU organizations have a variety of requirements. Please note: all BHSU students receiving outside scholarships and grants for the coming year or semester must notify the BHSU financial aid office as soon as possible by completing the Outside Scholarship Information Form.

SDSUSouth Dakota State University offers a variety of scholarships. Awards are based on academic achievement, activities, participation, and leadership. There are several awards available, including the Jackrabbit Guarantee, criteria scholarships and scholarships designated for Native American and minority students.

USDThe University of South Dakota is proud to honor academically talented and exceptionally skilled students with a variety of scholarships and awards. The University annually awards more than $5.3 million in scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students as funded by the USD Foundation through various donors.
All admitted students are automatically considered for scholarships including The University of South Dakota's Coyote Commitment. Other scholarships available to incoming students at The U may require an additional application and supplemental documents. Academic scholarships may be awarded based on a combination of standardized test scores, high school GPA, personal interview and any other specified criteria.
